Hey Babe!

A little bit about me… I fell in love with the world of beauty at a very young age, grew up around hair and makeup my whole life. It’s always been a huge part of me.

Sixteen. That’s how old I was when I got my first set of extensions. I had one of those “chop it all off” moments, when I thought I wanted a stacked bob… but as the chair swirled around to reveal my finished look, the butterflies in my stomach even panicked as I immediately regretted the “f*ck it” attitude I had just had. That day I learned short hair was NOT my thing, and a few days later my love for extensions began.

My first set was a few packs of glued in tracks I bought at the local beauty store and stuck in myself – and OMG I was instantly OBSESSED! The thought of being able completely change my hair like that fascinated me. My transformation intrigued friends as they came over to get theirs done too. That was even more exciting for me… being able to give someone the joy of that transformation, an experience that stayed with me still to this day.

On a side note, my cousin owned a salon that I basically lived at… and I had some trusting friends that let me experiment on the. Lol

About a year later I discovered fusion extensions. At that time I had really thick hair, so 450 bonds later I was “living for it”! (No I didn’t do these myself!) Problem was, after a while they needed to be removed, and at that time the removal solutions weren’t what they are today. So for whatever reason, they got stuck in my hair. And when I say stuck, I mean like tried 3 different dissolving solutions, and eventually had to grease up and slide (pull) out, S T U C K! It was horrible! I left the chair that afternoon basically missing 70% of my hair, and to be honest I don’t think my hair was ever the same.

That was a traumatic experience that left me torn. I LOVED extensions but they had basically just tortured me…

You’d think I’d be done by now. But once you get your first set of extensions, you instantly form a relationship that is not easily broken. The way they take you from what you have, to achieving your “ultimate hair goals” so instantly – from a bob chin slap to a full on hair whip…. let’s be honest here – it’s magic and gives you allllll the “yesss babe” vibes!

So, yes. I GLUED THEM BACK IN. LOL But we already knew that was coming.

However, I did need a better solution.

After a few months, some web searching and friendly professional advice… I landed on a fresh set of clip-ins. They weren’t the “wake up with locks” look I was going for, and a little more work but whatever, I had hair without the damaging affects of glue and chemical dissolvers.

Over the next decade I played around with other methods.

Tried tape-ins, they were too bulky.

Had some beads installed, they were better, yet still bulky.

Tried a few different methods of sew-ins, pushed through the pain, but they never looked good for too long.

Wigs weren’t really my thing, not long term anyway.

I circled back to clip-ins with hopes I’d eventually find “my thing”.

Beginning of January 2019, Kim called me (My bff in Europe. My hubby’s Dutch, from The Netherlands… think Amsterdam!).

So, what started as just another “hey girl how you doing, what you been up to” phone call, ended in uncontrollable excitement! As I sat there listening to her tell me she was one of the first in her area to be trained in this specific type of extension method, I was instantly hooked and needed to have them! This is what I’ve been looking for! An extension method that checked all the boxes. Discrete, safe, wouldn’t get suck- no glue or removers or heat! Sign me uuuuup!

Problem was, she was in Europe and I was in the US, and I couldn’t find ANYONE who’d even heard of Nano Beads before. They were becoming extremely popular all over Europe, but hadn’t made it to the US just yet…

I quickly got myself some of these magical attachments and convinced a stylist friend to give installing them a try (that was an experience – but I’ll save that story for another day)! Never the less, as an experienced extensions wearer and over a decade of trying out basically every type I could find, THIS! THIS WAS MY THING!!!!!

It didn’t take long. I needed every one to know about these magical attachments!

I had long dreamed of a beauty brand of my own. One where I could make babes feel like the beautiful, confident, boss babes that they are. I just knew this was going to be my first product. And what a perfect way to begin….  with the crown we all wear.

So I got to work!

I learned everything about Nano Beads. From how they are made and where they come from, to how the hair is acquired, processed, packaged and shipped. I studied the application process and perfected the technique.

I tested a LOT of hair, beads and tools – different processing techniques and manufacturers until I found the best in quality and production.

I brought to life my vision by personally designing and creating the branding image and every detail…. My goal is to bring to all my fellow beauty babes, a way to feel as beautiful on the outside as they do inside through only the BEST quality beauty products I know you’re going to love just as much as I do!
